Markets post slim gains early Monday

NEW YORK, April 4 (UPI) -- U.S. markets started fractionally higher weekday morning, mass positive numbers in aggregation and Europe.

In midmorning trading, the Dow Jones industrial averaged additional 18.66 points or 0.15 proportionality to 12,395.40. The Standard & Poor's 500 finger gained 0.67 or 0.05 proportionality to 1,333.08. The Nasdaq composite finger additional 1.55 or 0.06 proportionality to 2,791.15.

The 10-year treasure state rose 12/32 to yield 3.41 percent.

The euro fell to $1.4215 from Friday's $1.4223. Against the yen, the note fell to 83.994 yearning from Friday's 84.10 yen.

In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 finger gained 0.11 percent, 10.50, to 9,718.89.
