Photon carabiners and quickdraws recalled

WASHINGTON, Apr 22 (UPI) -- Broomfield, Colo., consort CAMP USA Inc. is recalling 15,500 climbing carabiners and quickdraws that could fail, posing venture of injury, federal regulators said.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the carabiner receipts could unstoppered under a onerous load.

The carabiners, clips meant to secure climbing ropes, were imported from China and oversubscribed broad from Feb 2011 finished March 2011 for between $8 and $12.

The request involves Photon carabiners and Photon and March Express quickdraws, which are utilised as extenders to anchor a climber, the commission said.
