India officials, execs cited in radio deal

NEW DELHI, April 2 (UPI) -- Bharat Sat indicted a past telecommunications minister, along with another officials and executives, over a sale of broadcasting bandwidth.
The Central Bureau of Investigation live past Minister Andimuthu Raja with conspiracy, cheating, forgery, malefactor move and abusing official noesis in the allegedly rigged 2008 deal, The Wall Street Journal reported.
R.K. Chandolia, Raja's past personal secretary, and past Telecom Secretary Siddartha Behura face similar counts.
The founders of Swan Telecom Pvt. Ltd., today famous as Etisalat DB Telecom Pvt. Ltd., were live with deceit and forgery, and three executives of companies in the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group were accused of abetting crime by benefiting from the questionable bandwidth allocation.
"The enquiry relating to the issuance of new unified admittance services licenses and subsequent portion of 2G Spectrum during 2008-2009 has ingrained authorisation of offences" by Raja and others, the CBI said.
Raja and Swan originator Shahid Balwa said they module contest the charges. Chandolia, Behura and Reliance ADAG executives could not directly be reached for comment.
