CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 5 (UPI) -- Executives at US Airways ease discuss a doable integration a year after the airline's discussions with United failed, US Airways' chief chief tar said.

While declining to put most which traveler could be the best integration candidate, Doug Parker stressed his belief US Airways could endure indefinitely as a stand-alone traveler during an interview with The metropolis (N.C.) Observer publicised Thursday.

Parker said the airline has demonstrated it can be a viable consort on its own, but the airline supported in Tempe, Ariz., wants to be in a "position where we can curb our possess destiny," including any integration opportunity.
