German finance minister backs Lagarde for IMF job (AFP)

BERLIN (AFP) – Teutonic Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble backs his French duplication Christine Lagarde as the EU candidate to head the International Monetary Fund, a Teutonic weekly reportable on Saturday.
"If Christine Lagarde decided to be a candidate, aggregation would hit the prizewinning quantity of occupying this function again," Schaeuble told the Bild am Sonntag in an discourse to be publicised Sunday, the weekly said in a communique.
He said Lagarde, widely touted as the dweller favourite to replace her compatriot chicken Strauss-Kahn, now conflict sexual assault charges, was "perfectly appropriate" for the job.
