Oil settles lower on economic data (AP)

Oil prices lapse on Thursday after the government offered firm signs of slower economic growth. Here's how energy contracts traded.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude lapse $1.09 to resolve at $100.23 per barrel.

Gasoline gained 2.07 cents to resolve at $3.0074 a gallon.

Heating oil picked up 0.11 coin to resolve at $2.9934 a gallon.

Natural pedal lapse 6.3 cents to resolve at $4.360 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange:

Brent crude rose 12 cents to resolve at $115.05 per barrel.
