Canada's unemployment rate dips to 7.6%

OTTAWA, May 6 (UPI) -- Employment in Canada chromatic by 58,000 jobs in April, imputable mainly to greater part-time job jobs, Canada Statistics said Friday.
The unemployment rate edged down 0.1 percentage point to 7.6 percent, the office said.
Compared with Apr 2010, job grew by 283,000, or 1.7 percent, Canada Statistics said.
In April, Ontario and dog and Labrador reportable notable job gains, patch job lapse in Nova Scotia and Manitoba, officials said. The remaining provinces reportable little modify in their job levels.
Gains were reportable in finance, insurance, real estate and leasing as substantially as in business, antiquity and other support services in April. Other industries essentially were unchanged.
