No decision on Japan nuke plant suspension

TOKYO, May 7 (UPI) -- The directors of Japan's Chubu Electric Power Co. failed Saturday to accomplish a decision on suspending the Hamaoka thermonuclear noesis plant, meeting participants said.

Chubu officials said the commission definite to hold soured on the concern because members desired more instance to study the high-stakes question.

The Kyodo news authority said the Hamaoka being supplies nearly 12 proportionality of the company's noesis production or 3.6 meg kilowatts. Prime Minister Naoto Kan has asked Chubu to alter dealings for safety reasons.
