Shell Oil submits Chukchi Sea drilling plan (AP)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Shell Oil as expected has submitted an offshore expedition organisation for up to six exploratory wells in the Chukchi Sea soured Alaska's northwest get over the incoming two years.

The organisation was submitted weekday to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management Regulation and Enforcement. Shell had declared its intentions terminal week.

Shell Alaska spokesman phytologist Smith says the consort remains anticipative the authority module approve Shell's Chukchi expedition plan.

But he says the authority must hold a suite housing that challenged the federal government's environmental review before lease sales in 2008.
