WACO, Texas, May 6 (UPI) -- Those experience in a free market frugalness with little polity participation are inferior mitigated than those in more thermostated economies, U.S. researchers say.

Dr. Apostle Flavin of Baylor University and colleagues used accumulation from the World Values Survey's 2005 think that included 10,405 grouping from 15 industrialized countries -- Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Schweiz and the United States.

On a scale of 1 to 10 -- with 10 the highest take of spirit -- the cipher rating for every respondents was 7.39, but U.S. respondents reportable an cipher of 7.26. The United States has one of the lowest levels of land intervention.

The findings were consistent regardless income, political views, health, education, married status, large domestic product and unemployment rate.

"In many cases, inferior polity participation can earmark for a more efficient economy, but greater scheme efficiency doesn't needs translate into greater contentment with one's life," Flavin said in a statement.
