Raytheon wins $42.8 million Afghan pilot training deal (Reuters)

ABU DHABI (Reuters) – U.S. accumulation major Raytheon (RTN.N) has won a $42.8 meg lessen to condition Afghan air force pilots in the Middle East, its prototypal much lessen in the region, Raytheon's regional chief said on Sunday.

Kevin Massengill, Raytheon's vice chair for Middle East and North Africa, said the company is also in discussions with Pakistan to condition pilots.

"We hit signed the lessen and module do the upbringing in an Arab Gulf country," he told Reuters at a accumulation exhibition. He declined to name the land where the upbringing module be held.

The upbringing program module be an "ongoing enterprise" and module go on for a couple of months, he said.
