TOKYO (Reuters) – Toyota Motor Corp said on weekday it would request most 1.2 meg units of the patriarch minivan and another models in Nihon as substantially as most 140,000 Avensis models overseas to mend imperfect render wind and high-pressure render pumps.

The request for the models sold in Nihon covers those manufactured between May 2000 and Oct 2008.

In two another filings on Wednesday, Toyota said it would request most 75,000 Crown models and most 6,200 Townace vans in Japan.

Shares of Toyota extended a decline after the declaration and were downbound 2 proportionality in late salutation trade.

Toyota said in a filing to Japan's transport ministry that no accidents had been reportable attendant to the defects.

Toyota spokeswoman Shiori Hashimoto said the manufacturer does not divulge estimates for request costs.
