ORLANDO, Fla., April 19 (UPI) -- Lockheed histrion said it recently delivered F-15 Sniper pods to the South Korean expose obligate for immediate deployment in flooded flight operations.

"Sniper pods wage the (South Korean expose force) with updated targeting and non-traditional intelligence, surveillance and intelligence capabilities for the F-15K fleet," said Marc Nazon, program trainer for Fixed Wing Fire Control at Lockheed histrion Missiles and Fire Control.

"We countenance nervy to continued hold and training to ensure that (South Korean expose force) pilots and maintainers have a flooded bidding of the Sniper pod's capabilities."

The Sniper husk identifies targets at long ranges and offers the aptitude to relay high-resolution streaming recording using a downlink to connector forces for non-traditional intelligence, surveillance and intelligence and rapid direct coordination.

Lockheed histrion in 2009 demonstrated the benefits of Sniper pod's aptitude for the South Korean expose obligate by successfully flying the figure on F-15K and the KF-16 bomb with a ordinary Sniper husk software load.

This aptitude allows operators to readily deploy the husk on different bomb types, significantly reducing targeting husk life-cycle costs.

Sniper pods are flying on U.S. Air Force and multinational F-16, F-15, B-1, F-18, Harrier, A-10 and B-52 aircraft.
