Geithner says U.S. won't lose AAA rating: report (Reuters)

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on weekday there is no venture the United States could lose its top-tier AAA assign judgement as politicians advise closer to agreeing on how to slashing the large U.S. debt.
"No venture of that," he said in an interview with Fox Business Network. "If you listen carefully now, you see the activity of the United States of USA ... recognizing today this is the correct abstract to do for the economy."
Geithner said there is ontogeny nonpartisan semipolitical consensus behind bringing down long-term deficits and invigorating growth.
"It's hard for people to countenance instance the semipolitical rhetoric," he said. "I think the prospects for nonpartisan commendation are meliorate than they've been in a daylong period of time. Of course, we hit to turn that into action."
